What is rslvr.eu?
The objective of this project is to establish a complimentary and robust DNS resolver that ensures both accessibility and security, based on the DNS-over-TLS and DNS-over-HTTPS protocols. It operates seamlessly without necessitating any additional configuration or third-party software on various platforms (Android, iOS, macOS). The resolver is strategically distributed across different geographical locations and utilizes intelligent geographic DNS resolving. It builds upon the renowned oisd.nl blocklist, which effectively blocks advertisements, telemetry, and statistical tracking, all the while preserving optimal website and app compatibility.
Installation guide
📱 iOS (14 or higher)
- Download the DNS-over-HTTPS profile. Tap "Allow" when prompted.
- Open Settings.
- Tap on Profile Downloaded.
- Tap on Install, confirm using your passcode when prompted, tap on Install again and confirm using the Install button.
- Tap on Done and ensure that rslvr.eu DoH is selected in the DNS menu.
📱 Android (9 or higher)
- Open "Settings".
- Open "Network & internet".
- Tap on "Private DNS".
- Select "Private DNS provider hostname".
- Enter "dns.rslvr.eu" in the text box and confirm by tapping on "Save".
